Phillip Fulmer Golf Classic-(Paul Jones)

The Jason foundation was formed eleven years ago to raise awareness about teen suicide and ways to prevent it.
The organization's biggest fundraiser takes place at the hermitage golf course every year in June.
Once again turnout for the charity event was excellent.
Paul Jones reports.
2-hundred-88 golfers head off for a relaxing day on the links.
Among them - vols football coach phillip fulmer.
The national spokesman for the jason foundation.
"he actually got us through the first two years...Those first two years."))
"turn out? Looks pretty good."))
looks like too."))
A beautiful day doesn't always mean beautiful golf shots.
I asked event co-chair charlie daniels to sum up his game.
((Charlie daniels says: "you don't want to know....not my golf game."))
On the other hand - this guy's game isn't bad.
It's none other than vanderbilt football coach bobby johnson.
It may be the one event where two rival coaches see eye to eye.
((Bobby johnson says: "no i think we can be friends anytime...Where i can."))
((Paul jones says: i was with coach fulmer earlier and i didn't get a chance to ask him this. Who has the better golf game?"))
((Bobby johnson says: "definitely i do. No doubt abot it (laughter)."))
I knew there was at least one thing they'd disagree on.
Coach johnson is pretty good and coach fulmer says he shoots in the 80s.
But neither gentleman has much time for anything but football.
For a good cause - they're glad to carve some time out of their busy schedules.
