TBI Increases Rewards for Most Wanted Fugitives

The TBI is upping the ante on what some call the worst of the worst.
It's multiplying the reward for its top 10 most wanted fugitives, by the number of years they've been on the list.
The TBI says these are the fingerprints of a monster. Agents say Russell McCollum groomed an 11 year old boy he met through church and molested the boy on 4 separate occasions.

Kristin Helm says: "Awhile after the molestation began, the victim told his mother, the mother turned him in and he was of course arrested and charged with sexual batter of a child."

McCollum was arrested in his dorm room at David Libscomb University where police say two of the assaults occurred.
He's been on the run since 1999.
Jose Rendon is another alleged sex offender and another $5000 fugitive, the new TBI most wanted maximum.
Rendon was busted in 2002 after police say he admitted to fondling a 13 year old girl.
At the time, Rendon was living on the outskirts of Murfreesboro.

T.J. Jordan says: "Based on the current charge and Mr. Rendon's past, it's obvious he is a danger to the community and any children he might come in contact with."

Our third $5000 fugitive is Robert Houston Sanders.
He was serving a 21 year sentence at Riverbend Maximum Security Prison in west Nashville when he escaped in April of 1990.
Sanders is in his middle 40's now with a criminal history that includes armed robbery, kidnapping and assault.
Russell McCollum, Jose Rendon and Robert Sanders are three longtime members of the TBI's top 10 most wanted.
If you know where they are call 1-800-TBI-FIND.
And remember, your information could be worth $5000.
