Johnny Marinez and Gustavo Beltran

It was 2:44a.m. when Franklin police pulled over Johnny Martinez and Gustavo Beltran along Highway 96 near McDonalds.
The men were in a red Chevy pick up similar to this one, along with another man.
They had just switched drivers when police hit the blue lights.

Kristin Helm/TBI says: "They were acting very suspicious that night. They did have a firearm. A couple of them admitted to being gang members. One did not. They think there was an initiation situation going on"

Sgt. Paul Arnold/Franklin Police says: "which could have been an armed robbery of a 24-hour business or a specific shooting where they had pre-identified a target most likely from an opposing gang"

Scott Couch/Fox17 News: "Martiniez and Beltran gave fake names when they were booked here at the Williamson County Jail. And before authorities could figure out who they really were, they made a cash bond and disappeared."

Beltran has tattoos all over his body.
But the one your most likely to notice is tiny stars between his left thumb and forefinger.
Martinez has tattoos on his arm and stomach.
Beltran claims to be part of the brutal MS-13 gang from El Salvador.
But since he's mexican, authorities believe the men are most likely members of another gang called Sur-13.
Police say Martinez and Beltran may be working as painters and could be living in south nashville.
Both are wanted for giving police false information.
Johnny Martinez is 5'3 and was born in 1987.
Gustavo Beltran is 5'4.
He was born in 1984.
