Morning Music On School Busses - Sky Arnold
School bus drivers in one local district have a new tool to keep children from acting up.
It's called BusRadio.
The Clarksville Montgomery County School District is one of four in Tennessee that are subscribing to the music service. It provides age appropriate music and public service messages through the school bus speakers.
Bus driver Glynn Miller says the system has helped keep kids in their seats and has reduced discipline problems.
"I talked to the other drivers who have had some routes that are rowdy and they say it's had a calming effect," said Miller.
BusRadio is provided free to the district.
Officials say they plan to have it on all of their buses by the end of the school year.
