New Auto Plant Comes to Franklin, KY
A new automotive plant comes to Franklin, Kentucky.
The ZAP plant is a joint venture between Kentucky-based integrity automotive and a California company.
Officials says the facility will make up to 100-thousand battery powered vehicles.
"ZAP" stands for zero air pollution.
The electric vehicles come in all shapes and sizes from cars..and trucks to scooters and ATVs.
Car makers say the new alias, a three wheeled car, will go more than one hundred miles an hour on just a 20 minute charge
Simpson county leaders say 12-hundred new jobs will come with the plant.
