This moth was on our deck post in the am on Wednesday. It stayed all day until dark, then disappeared. We had never seen one like it. It was so beautiful that we just had to share it! It had a six inch wing span.

This is a native Tennessee cactus I dug up from a friends farm in Goodlettsville 5 years ago. It's now matured and grown beautifully and has bloomed for the past 3 years. This year I counted over 146 buds that will eventually bloom.
