FOX 17 Studio Tours
Starting January 31, 2008 WZTV/WUXP will not be taking any station tours due to construction and remodeling. We apologize for any inconvenience. Station tours are scheduled to start back up in early spring 2008.

WZTV- FOX17 and sister station MYTV30 offer tours of our station. Due to the large number of inquiries, we ask that you note our guidelines before requesting a tour.
- Tours are offered on Wednesday’s and Friday mornings at 10:00AM and usually last about 45 minutes.
- Tours are limited to a maximum of 15 people including chaperons, and we ask that students are in grade three or higher. If your group is larger than 15 participants, plan on choosing multiple days for tours because it will be necessary to split the group into smaller groups. We are unable to accommodate other groups in our waiting area between tours. Also, please note that parking is very limited.
- Student tours are reserved for journalism/mass communication students 7th grade or higher and should be requested by an instructor.
- Boy/Girls Scout groups may be accommodated. Scouting tours are available for scouts in 3rd grade and above. Due to space constraints, scout groups are limited to 15 people, including parents. While parents may accompany their scout we request no siblings.
During the tour, you will get a complete overview of the workings of a television station. Groups will have the chance to see the actual WZTV-FOX17 and WUXP-MYTV30 television studios, the newsroom, the weather office, the master control room, and the creative services department. Also, please be advised that WZTV-FOX17 & WUXP-MYTV30 studio tours are contingent on breaking news, news requirements, or other conflicts that may arise. Therefore, on rare occasions, a tour may have to be canceled and rescheduled if possible.
