Charlie Chase
Tennessee Mornings Host
Charlie Chase was born in Rogersville, Tennessee and moved to Nashville in 1974. He has been in broadcasting thirty-five years and counting! His radio career began at age 13 working parttime and later worked on-air jobs while serving as Program and Music Director in Kingsport, Knoxville, and, later, Nashville, landing at the world famous WSM Radio--replacing Pat Sajak when he decided to pursue television. While working at WSM Radio, he began doing music reports for Channel 4 in Nashville. This lead to being offered the host position for the station's long-running midday magazine program in 1982. It was during that stint that television producer Jim Owens connected with Charlie to begin This Week in Country Music, which debuted in 1983. Charlie also hosted and produced the highly-rated series of specials: Funny Business with Charlie Chase and the Crook and Chase Show. Past playing partners include John Daly, Fuzzy Zoeller, Bob Murphy, Troy Aikman, former Vice President Dan Quayle, and other sports and music figures who also look at golf as a way to get out of the house. Charlie also enjoys visiting historic sites and searching for antiques.

David Park
Tennessee Mornings Traffic
Hey kids!
Here are a few little known (and less cared about) factoids about
David "Amusement" Park. Please, try to contain yourselves…
Career Crud: Did you know that David--
--has been a traffic reporter in Nashville for over 7 years?
--started his radio career as a comedy writer and producer for the one and only Coyote McCloud?
--has written for radio stations all over the world via American Comedy Network, ABC Produced Comedy Network, Satellite Comedy Network, Radio Star Morning Show Prep Service, and Radio Online Morning Show Prep Service? Well, did you? He was huge in Taranaki, New Zealand, baby!
--has been performing as a stand-up comedian since 1987 and opened for Howie Mandel and Rob Schneider at Amsouth Amphitheater? Man, dig that.
--is a professional speaker regaling audiences everywhere with his patented brand of “Help, hope, clarity, and hilarity”.
Personal Goofiness: Our protagonist (see "David", above)--
--is 6 feet tall, soaking wet.
--was his high school valedictorian, a national merit scholar finalist, MENSA qualified, blah blah blah…okay, he's got geeklike qualities.
--is a proud graduate of Belmont University (Go Bruins!!) and was the very last "Belmont Rebel" mascot (apparently, Rhonda lost the big rebel head).
--is quite a skilled juggler, a workout enthusiast, and an avid fly fisherman (if not a good one). In fact, he…
--once argued with the "Wheel of Fortune" hostess from New Zealand about trout fishing (At Disneyworld, no less. Hey, you can't make this stuff up.).
--is a NATIVE NASHVILLIAN. Yes, you read that correctly.
--is a devout Christian, Nashville's second wackiest Presbyterian.
--has an older brother named John, a cocker spaniel named Freckles, and a Maine coon (that's a cat) in need of a quality name.
Oh, there's plenty more, but we're saving it for a major motion picture…or perhaps an after-school special. Stay tuned!

Rachael Bernard
Live Commercial Coordinator
Rachael Bernard, a native of Nashville , began acting at a young age only to decide later to make a career of it. After starring in High School productions, local theatre and with some encouragement from her acting coach, Arita Trahan, Rachael soon left for New York City , to continue her acting studies at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Upon graduating, Rachael eagerly attended many auditions, taking part in several off Broadway Productions. After staying in the “Big Apple” she returned to Nashville to appear in both independent films, national commercials, and began working for Tennessee Mornings on Fox 17.
Rachael's work in local theatre and music, helps her bring a unique perspective to Nashville entertainment in her “Around Town with Rachael” segments. Her background in writing and improv serve her well in her work with live sponsors and help her to fit right in with the “Drama” on Tennessee Mornings.
Rachael's ultimate goal is to win an Oscar for Best Actress. But in the mean time her dog Oscar will suffice.
